1. Acquitting costs

If your report contains a Costs table, this may be a combination of read-only fields (the agreed costs or milestones for your project) and editable fields (your progress against these costs or milestones).



2. How to provide an acquittal of actuals

To provide updates against your costs table, select the pencil icon for each cost in succession.


To report against the costs for this period, acquit the actual expenditure by entering the amount expended against this milestone in the Actual to-date field.


Refer to guidance provided by the grant organisation on the amounts that can be included in your acquittal.





Note: Some grant organisations record the Activities and Deliverables associated with a cost/milestone at the time of contracting. Where instructed to do so, provide an update on your progress towards achieving these activities and deliverables on the Progress tab. Then Save.
